Documentary film

Havana is still alive. Its people are in the streets, the squares, the churches, the parks, the ballrooms, the schools. And it still conveys a legacy made of old laughter, African rhythms, and strong dyes.

“Herencia” is a story of emotions where images talk for themselves and traditional time rules are bent. Everything catches your eye to break with normality and the ordinary. The journey doesn’t follow a path. The ocean was crossed hundreds of years ago. And “Herencia” shows what this has meant.
